Description
VINTAGE GENESEE BREWING CO. " 2 COLOR NEON" GENNY LIGHT BEER CLOCK. This is a scarce and prized collectible vintage neon and quartz clock from GENESEE BREWING COMPANY of ROCHESTER, NEW YORK. Marked on inner clock face "QUALITY BREWED IN THE GENESEE VALLEY- GENNY LIGHT BEER". With graphics that was produced on a GENNY LIGHT issued beer coaster from the pre 2000 time period. This is a USED, two (2) color changing neon clock remaining in "VERY GOOD" original condition. Only real condition issue is a little flaking of the "chrome plating" that is applied to the plastic outer housing and is shown in picture #10. I have owned this item since late 1998, and never had any issues with it keeping time or with the two-color neon lighting. Overall largest diameter of clock is fifteen (15) inches round. Diameter of inner glass faced front is eleven (11) inches round. Total thickness is 2.5 inches thick. Length of the 120 volt, 2 prong transformer plug-in cord is six (6) foot long. Please notice the pinkish-red/blue color changing neon lighting when plugged into wall plug. This was manufactured "WITHOUT" a pull cord to turn on/off the neon lighting, so once plugged into wall plug it's on till you unplug it from power source. The quartz driven clock is independently powered by one (1) AA, 1.5 volt battery. The neon color changes from the pinkish-red to blue color in twenty-one (21) second intervals repeatedly. Backside on clock housing is a applied sticker stating "STONESTREET MARKETING, ESTES PARK, COLORADO, "along with raised lettering "APA ELECTRONIC CO. LTD., PAT.P., MADE IN TAIWAN". This is a nice collectible GENNY LIGHT neon clock that will make a perfect addition to your prized collection. I searched past "sold listings" on Ebay and have not found any similar neon clock ever sold. Please don't compare/confuse this to the Genesee neon clocks currently listed for sale on Ebay now, this is well over 20/25 years vintage. Will look great in your man-cave or she-shed, bar, hunting camp, garage, or really anyplace for that matter. Please carefully look over all pictures and judge condition for yourself so you know exactly what you are bidding on and will receive if purchased. I accept Paypal only for payment and will ship fast and safe. Will be thoroughly packaged for shipment with bubble wrap and foam peanuts so no damages can result in transit. FOR SALE AND SHIPPED TO THE LOWER 48 US STATES ONLY, NO EXCEPTIONS. All sales final, no returns, exchanges, or refunds. Winning bidder must pay .00 for USPS shipping charges. I will issue a refund for any over payment shipping charges (if any) after I ship item to you. Thank you for looking and hope you add this seldom seen item to your prized breweriana collection.
