    Description

    Mid-century Schaefer beer lighted sign and clock in working condition. This interesting advertising piece features an electric analog clock mounted on a boat-shaped metal base. The base is back-lit and light is emitted through holes in base and beamed up through the clock face. The Schaefer logo also lights up. Sign appears to be fully functional. All three hands of clock work and keep good time. Light fixture(s) are all working, although I did not inspect the inside of device. The main issue with this piece is cosmetic. The metal or tin base is chrome-plated and a good bit of the plating has begun to flake off. I don't see any significant rust, just pitting & flaking. The acrylic clock face looks great. Schaefer logo shows some wear, but looks ok. The main light switch on back panel works, but its a little fussy sometimes. Power cord is yellowed, but fully intact. I did not open up unit to inspect the interior. Sign measures approx 12" long x 10" tall.
