Traditionally, linear motion has requiredseparate components to handle drive, support and guidance. The compact ScrewRail combines all functions in a single, coaxial component.
By eliminating the need for externalrail-to-screw alignment, the Screw Rail simplifies the design, manufacture andassembly of motion systems. The coaxial design saves as much as 80% of thespace used by a two-rail system and is generally less expensive than theequivalent components purchased separately.
The Kerk® SRA Series General Purpose ScrewRail® LinearActuator uses a standard nut for general applications. The SRA is recommendedanywhere low drag and minimal free play is required. A ScrewRail® combines bothguidance and load support functions in a single, coaxial component, saving asmuch as 80% of the space used by a two-rail system. Kerkote® TFE coating andself-lubricating nut ensure long life without maintenance.
