This item has never been removed from its original packaging.  The original batteries have long died (3 AAs now included) and in order to check battery case integrity (clean) and to make certain the item still made noises and music the BOTTOM of the package was opened and the batteries replaced.
Item is sold as it is (opened to replace batteries)
Minor shelf wear to packaging.

The block on the back of the elephant - the purple side has discolored with age - none of the other purple sides discolored.
Works - makes music and noises when being pulled by the attached string.  The block on the back of the elephant also 'pops' because on an action with the elephant.
This was purchased by my mother for her Fisher Price collection.
