    A charming Daum sculpture of a golden retriever with an extended paw, depicted here in the lighter hue of the amber shade. The result of careful craftsmanship, the golden retriever is created using the rare & ancient "Pâte de Verre" technique, which dates back to 5,000 BC. It involves melting many fragments of colored crystal within a mold, resulting in intense colors against a subtly shaded background. Handmade in France.
