    Special sale price for the holidays!
    These were custom ordered for a project a company used to manufacture, but these were never built.  These ballscrews cost about 0 each when new.  They are made from the best (non-magnetic) stainless steel, so it will not corrode (designed for a oceanic application, so this was important).  Normal (400 series) stainless used by most manufacturers will rust in moist conditions given time, but this is 300 series non-magnetic stainless, so it's very corrosion resistant.
    It looks like (but I have no proof) that these were made by Nook Industries.
    These are very low friction ballscrews.  I can't find any specifications on them, but I can hold the shaft in my hand and the ballscrew nut will actually slowly spin down the shaft!  They have no backlash I can feel.  They are very smooth acting, and the surfaces are precision.  I don't know for sure, but they look USA, German, Japan, or Swiss made.
    Specs:
    Rod end: 0.250"x0.860" (non-threaded part)
    Rod thread: ~297mm (~11 5/8") x 9.75mm (0.385") (measured on the threads)
    Ball screw nut: 0.929" long (non-threaded part)+0.290"(threaded part)
    I'm not sure what the threads are on the ball screw nut, but they're most likely SAE, not metric.
    Given the ballscrew nut length, the actual travel of the threaded section is almost exactly 10.5", but that's running an unsupported end (no end bearing to take up travel).
    This is just what I measured (with a caliper and tape measure for the longer parts), so take that for what it's worth.  If you want a more precise measurement or another specific measurement, feel free to contact me.
